April sun
JT and Anna (in my scarf and sunglasses + JT’s mum’s jacket)
Me (we played cards!) and Anna’s jeans and JT’s converse.
I had a really awesome afternoon/evening at some friends. We played cards, took photos and saw the ash cloud (at least I like to think we saw it). I think JT has got the rest of the photos.

New shoes
I went to one of the downtown thrift stores today with one goal on my mind: to buy a new pair of braces/suspenders. Unfourtunately, all they had were these really small and silly ones for five-year-olds. But I did find something, anyway. A cute pair of ballerinas with bows on them.

Expectations
I dyed my hair today (out of boredom). It’s dark red/brown now, and I love it.
Started painting on a tote bag yesterday aswell.
PS. This song is really good.

Nowhere boy
I saw Nowhere boy this tuesday. It didn’t really meet my expectations (which were quite high), but still it was really good.Although it kind of left me wondering how it really was, and how it really happened, I think the movie was a bit romanticized.
I’ve also watched 7 episodes of Skins season 4, I’ve only got the last one left!I’m saving it for tomorrow though...I hate the fact that I already know that it will end sadly.

E18
I wanted to post the pictures from Jalouse magazine (the march issue), but I didn’t find them on the internet nor got the scanner to work. But I found these on AnOther magazines page. She’s so cool.

My pokemon bring all the nerds to the yard, and they’re like "wanna trade cards?"
Facebook groups rule
Two random (old) sunglasses from my closet
I love sunglasses! They can make you look sixties cool or um, futuristic scary in an instant. And they’re usually very cheap.

Le message
Studied some french earlier this afternoon (as well as having a coffee (tea) with a friend, running, working and finishing extremely loud and incredibly close). Found this poem in my text book:
La porte que quelqu’un a ouverte
La porte que quelqu’un a refermée
La chaise où quelqu’un s’est assis
Le chat que quelqu’un a caressé
Le fruit que quelqu’un a mordu
La lettre que quelqu’un a lue
La chaise que quelqu’un a renversée
La porte que quelqu’un a ouverte
La route où quelqu’un court encore
Le bois que quelqu’un traverse
La rivière où quelqu’un se jette
L’hôpital où quelqu’un est mort.
=
The door that someone opened
The door that someone closed
The chair on which someone sat
The cat that someone petted
The fruit that someone bit into
The letter that someone read
The chair that someone tipped over
The door that someone opened
The road that someone ran down
The woods that someone crossed
The river in which someone jumped
The hospital where someone died.
(stole the translation from here)
It gave me heavy boots, to quote oskar schell. So now I’m playing animals by miike snow very loudly.

Wild world
The final scene of Skins season one (when they start singing) is pretty fantastic. I had forgotten about it until I watched it again a few weeks ago.
There wasn’t any version available to put here (e4 seems to have blocked that function)...So link.

Polkadot dress
Are there any readers? Well, whatever, I’ll just keep posting. Soooo, I spent a few hours yesterday+today sewing this dress (which in fact isn’t a dress , it’s a skirt and a top). Polka dots is my new thing, I got a scarf from J with polka dots for my birthday (the 12th of march, same as liza minelli and pete doherty), and i’ve got a bow/hair clip thing with polka dots on as well. I have a feeling that it will not end there...
Well, I’ve always loved Minnie Mouse.:)

paris
From niotillfem !
I want to go to paris again. Last time I was there I was 11 and didn’t speak a single word in french (well except maybe "bonjour" and "merci beaucoup", the latter always made me crack up since it sounds like "merci pucko", thank you moron, with a little bit of imagination), and I wasn’t really interested in the same things as now.
I am going to the south of france this summer on a language trip, maybe paris will be my destination on some journey after that? I definitely want to go after seeing Niotillfem’s clip.

Play again and again and again
Almost 70 cm snow outside. It’s the most I’ve seen around here...It’s sick! Unfourtunately, it fucks everything up.Poor Anna had to walk home from town (ca 8 km that is) last saturday when they canceled the busses. Well, at least people got use for their thigh high boots at last.

Fettisdagen/Mardi gras/Shrove tuesday
My school had a prom(or more like a dance, it wasn’t very big) yesterday for all year nines. It was really fun and I danced a lot, which I can feel in my legs today.
The best thing about the dance was probably the fact that we didn’t have any real lessons yesterday, only dance lessons from 9.00-10.30.
I left town with a few friends and went to Norrköping. It’s just 30 minutes away, and although a little bit smaller than where we live still a great place especially since we can take the commuter train for free with our school bus cards.I had a great time.
I bought the dress for the prom there (from H&M):
H&M are always reliable.
Hope you have a great shrove tuesday today, I’m going to eat my semla (my dictionary wants to call it a shrovetide bun, but i suggest you google it if you want to know what it is) real soon.

Oh, take me back to the start
I wish that i was a more simple person sometimes. Like, that i would feel more like all other people around me feel about some things..
I want to go back to London! I’ve started to grow found of the idea of moving there in the second or third year of gymnasium...Though it might get tough to get really good grades then.
But it would be really really cool. And I can read the same courses as at home.

I want to grow a beard and join the circus.
I found a pair of tartan patterned trousers today at Monki’s super sale. Some web cam pictures:
lol, my arm looks huge on the last picture.
the pattern doesn’t show, but it’s really pretty: purple, fuchsia, black and mustard. That’s pretty much my favourite colours.
Feels a bit ironic to buy spring trousers when it’s snowing even more outside.
great song:

james dean...
would have been 79 years old today if he was still alive. (feels like i write a lot about dead old men).
So in the last bit of my post I won’t.
Tomorrow, I have a 2 hour long (?) test during my lie-in. And then I have 90 minutes of social studies, 90 minutes of french and then, last lesson, art.
Can’t we just delay tomorrow?

arctic monkeys shirt
my hair has gotten very long. which everyone tells me all the time, in a really surprised way. Although, I do feel like cutting my hair like this:
But maybe that can wait for a while. It is fun to have long hair, especially when you’ve never had it this long before.

run run run
shirt, Weekday. Dress, Koola Anna. Hat, grandma's old. I'm thinking about what book I'm going to (re)read for english. I have to decide by monday, and since i'm going to present this book i want it to be reeeeaaally good so that i can stand in front of the class telling them passionately about how good it was. I've been thinking about "Incredibly loud and extremely close" (by Jonathan Safran Foer), "Special topics in Calamaty Physics" (by Marisha Pessl, I've already read it once in swedish and thought it was brilliant) or maybe "the Catcher in the Rye" (J.D Salinger, already read it and liked it alot).
Hmm.. I have to go to the library tomorrow and decide. Maybe I'll just follow my gut feeling and randomly chose one. That way I usually end up with great books...
It’s a cool cover.
