il fait beau

Old pictures Today I went downtown with a few friends to check out an exhibition where the college/high school (swe. gymnasium)schools promoted them self. We have to apply to "gymnasium" (or eng. college or am. the last 3 years of high school) in february. Afterwards I went to Lagerhause where 2 of my friends wanted to buy "Father's day"'s-gifts and well, also did so. Right now I'm listening to Casiokids.

500 days of autumn.

So, in Stockholm I bought a new ("Norwegian")sweater. There's something about norwegian-styled sweaters that I've always loved. Therefore, it was very fun to walk into Beyond Retro (well, it's always fun to go in there)where they seemed to have zillions of hot norwegian sweaters. Louise, Hannah (which I was there with)and tried on loads of them, and it was very fun. The one I bought: Yes, I had to do the thumb-up pose. Some idyllic (and very bright, sorry)pictures from a norwegian knitting magazine: Very fashion-forward. Hehe,I spent most of this week at my grandmother's, and well, what we talked about the most might have been knitting. I got the knitting magazine from her (patterns are featured, I might knit one on my own). Also, right now I'm watching O.C season 4 (I started season 1 june this year, like 5 years behind, I knoooow, but it wasn't until then that I was convinced about how good it is) even though it isn't very exciting. But Summer's clothes make it worth it. I love her hippie look that features some very great cardigans. /Bella

Fog.

This is what I had to cope with this morning. I like fog, everything looks more mystic and beautiful. I know none of us have updated the blog for almost a month, none us takes it very seriously. But we might update soon again, who knows? (though I'll be staying at my grandma's place in Stockholm without internet next week, so it will not be me...) Some pictures from my 'pretty pictures'- folder on my computer: Sorry, I just randomly save pretty pictures on my computer (for inspiration), and I don't really know wherefrom I've taken these...The second picture is called something with 'polish girl', I think that was the photographer's alias on flicker. The last image is from Skins via Skinny.

Scandinavian summer

Some pictures (all taken by me, except the last one) from my (awesome!) summer. They're all from different places around in Scandinavia (you might spot the new opera house in Oslo, and Holmenkollen, also in Oslo, and a big statue hand from Millesgården in Stockholm)... /Isabella

Drawing I did a coupla' weeks a go, i think I'm gonna add some background 4. Started this yesterday. 5. Found this on one of my pages.. Just some doodle.. 6. Also gonna add some background and colour...Started this one two nights ago. By the way, I want to buy myself a parkas. I've already found one at H&M. It's made of organic cotton and costs about $ 30, but i'm not sure if I can survive the looong Swedish winter in it, so I'm not sure if it's worth it... /Isabella

A/LOVE/STORY

I think they're having a party a few houses away, but I'm staying in with a cold watching movies and drinking tea. I just watched this one, "En kärlekshistoria" ("A Swedish lovestory" it's called in english, which somehow sounds a bit wrong...the greece name is even worse). It's a really beautiful movie.

A bad omen?

Was watching the intro to some show called True Blood at this blog and the I saw this. A bit comical. Good thing that none of us are very religious. Maybe we should rename the blog to just Bangs ?

Way out... west!

Timo Räsinän, Lykke Li & Robyn, Arctic Monkeys, Robyn, Anna
A few weeks ago, we (all of us 5 writers of this blog) went to Way Out West. Here are some pictures from day one, when we saw Timo Räisinän, Robyn (and Lykke Li who came as a guest and sang "I want to break free" with Robyn, and it was really amazing) and Arctic Monkeys. We also saw Bon Iver, Beirut and Röyksopp (or well, I,Isabella, was the only one who went to Röyksopp, the other four went to Glasvegas). I have unfourtunately not got any photos from the second day, when we saw Jenny Wilson (she's really cool), Vampire Weekend (very good), Florence Valentine (which were AWESOME!, though everyone might not agree...hahah), Basement Jaxx (also amazing), Lily Allen (it was really fun to have seen her, I've listened to her since I was like 11 or 12) and Teddybears (which performed their megahits and well, ended the festival in an awesome way, and got everyone dancing like crazy). Way Out West was awesome!

Cinderella and the pauper.

Another extension of the fairytale theme, which Anna came with the idea to because she said she had the perfect outfit for Cinderella which you can see at the top here. Linnea went as the pauper (you get to pick from which fairytale).
